I was getting lots of emails to share my short notes for political science and international relations. This post is to cater to the needs of such aspirants.
The basic idea of short notes is to jot down a topic in a single A4 sheet. It enables one to revise the syllabus in hardly a week. It also acts as end moment revision notes to remember the main points that can be used in the answer to fetch good marks.
The things that should be noted down in short notes are:
1) Statements and quotes of scholars
2) Name of scholars along with their important works(books or essays)
3) Key features in one line
4) Important critics along with the view points of the critique.
5) Comparison if applicable.
Anything that can be written directly in the answer should be noted down.
I will try to upload my complete notes as soon a possible.

Hey guys I am Rishav Mandal. I have been lucky enough  to secure AIR-58 this time around in UPSC CSE 2018. I have done my B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering and passed out in year 2016. I chose POLITICAL SCIENCE AND INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS as my optional. Thereafter i started my UPSC journey with lots of enthusiasm.I gave my first attempt in 2017 and could not clear prelims. This was a setback for me but i kept on moving. This journey being a long one requires lots of patience and wisdom to accept the uncertainties of this exam.It is also very necessary to develop a critical attitude towards oneself so that one is able to recognize where is one lagging behind. The best guide to you can be none other than yourself. It is a prerequisite to have faith on yourself to break the myths created by people about this examination. Rely more on facts and less on hue and cry created about this exam. In this context i always say that this exam is more about attitude and less about aptitude. At the
